Assessment & University Support

What support do I get?

Every team is guided by a coach, a senior student, that mentors the students throughout the project. The job of a coach is not to do the students’ work, but rather advise them in difficult situations, by offering bi-monthly feedback sessions and bridging the gap between the NGOs and the students. In addition, the entire project is organized and supported by the Students for Project Misside Team, who due to its experience of operating and working on a project in Guinea can advise the coaches and students to gain further insights on challenges and collection of information.

Is there any training provided before starting to work with the associations?

Yes, there are three mandatory workshops that focus on CSR strategies, basic consulting practices and creating strong team spirits across the different consulting teams.

Does Rotterdam School of Management support the project?

Yes, the project is supported by the dean of RSM, the IBA/BA programme management, the Erasmus Centre for Leadership, Professor Dr. Lucas Meijs and the "Force for Positive Change"-manager Eva Rood.

Is there any performance assessment?

There are no grade assessments, however, at the end of the project every student must hand-in an individual report and present the results of their experience in a group-presentation.
